Job summary

LifeWise Academy is hiring part-time LifeWise Secondary Education teachers for grades 6-12 in Ohio. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication skills, who can deliver LifeWise curriculum with care and integrity.

Responsibilities include completing training within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining attendance/rosters, keeping a well-organized classroom, and communicating with staff and volunteers to support student growth and program missions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, including health and permission notes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies for lessons.
• Communicate with program director, school personnel, and volunteers; share updates and photos.
