Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated part-time teacher for LifeWise Secondary Education in Ohio. The role requires active church involvement, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to the LifeWise mission.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith. Training, community engagement, and respectful student relationships are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• A mature personal Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lessons.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters; prepare substitute materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
