Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a part-time secondary education teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and excellent teaching abilities with a caring, faith-driven approach.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience (school or church), a mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs, and active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and certification
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters including health concerns and photo permissions
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures
• Communicate as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and with volunteers
