Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher (attach diploma) or 72 credits/48 semester hours; GED accepted with demonstrated instructional ability.
• Meet rigorous standards through state/local assessment or para-professional certificate.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing and mathematics readiness as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 student support under a licensed teacher's supervision.
• Assist with tutoring, behavior management, supervision, and clerical tasks as needed.
• Adapt curriculum and instruction for students whose primary language is not English and support medically fragile students.
• Complete required district logs, forms, and attendance reporting.
