Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted Wisconsin license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• 4+ years of clinical counseling experience.
• Experience with crisis management, mandated abuse reporting, and suicide risk assessment.
• Knowledge of community referral resources.
• Strong cultural competence and the ability to serve a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy
• Assess, identify, and diagnose psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Use evidence-based interventions within your scope of practice, such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and Written Exposure Therapy
• Counsel patients on stress, depression, anxiety, substance use, grief and loss, and family and relationship issues
• Conduct suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention when needed
• Work with patients to set treatment goals and track progress
• Coordinate care with the clinic team, including consultation, case management, and referrals
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
