Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage, copays and deductibles.
• Verify coordination of benefits using the birthday rule.
• Update patient notes in the system with insurance changes.
• Assist Practice Manager with related special projects, including billing participation in improvements.
• Refer patients to FCC when entitlement applies.
• Communicate with patients on coverage concerns and any information required by carrier.
• Perform other related duties as required.
