Job summary

LearnWell in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a passionate, creative teacher to support child and adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. This part-time role runs 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm, in a small classroom of 8 to 15 students.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering daily lessons, providing individualized support, tracking attendance and progress, and communicating student updates. Candidates should hold a B.A./B.S.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution.
• New Jersey Standard teaching license.
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Manage small class sizes (8–15 students).
