Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Waterford Works, NJ. You will implement Individual Support Plans under supervision, work 1:1 and in groups across multiple settings, and collect data while delivering compassionate care.

During training, you gain diverse clinical experiences; after training, permanent placements are assigned. Requirements include a high school diploma and RBT certification; bonus eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified.
• At least 1 year working with children.
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings.
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills.
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes.
