Job summary

FronteraCare is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians (BT) or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our ABA team. You will partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and help families implement strategies at home and in the community.

Requirements include a high school diploma, college enrollment or degree preferred, and being at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy that transforms lives.
  • Create engaging and effective learning experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their full potential.
  • Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan.
  • Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school readiness for children.
  • Collaborate with families to implement strategies at home and in the community.

What You’ll Do:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proof of high school graduation (Diploma or GED)
  • College enrollment or degree preferred
  • At least 18 years of age

Health & Safety Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance

Training and Development:

The pay range for this role is between $18-24 per hour depending on experience.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All full-time employee benefits include health benefits, 401(k) plan, and PTO per year.
