Job summary

FronteraCare in New Mexico is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to join our ABA team. You will work with children with autism, support BCBA-led interventions, and help with learning and communication goals.

This role offers personalized development, RBT credential support, regular supervision, and a collaborative environment. Competitive pay ($18–$24/hour) and benefits accompany a mission-driven workplace focused on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation (Diploma or GED)
• College enrollment or degree preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
• Personalized Development Opportunities and RBT credential support including 40-hour training and competency assessments

Responsibilities

• Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy
• Create engaging and effective learning experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their full potential
• Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan
• Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school readiness for children
• Collaborate with families to implement strategies at home and in the community

The pay range for this role is between $18-24 per hour depending on experience.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All full-time employee benefits include health benefits, 401(k) plan, and PTO per year.

Compensation: $18 USD - $24 USD
