Job summary

United Care ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work one‑on‑one with children with autism in a structured, skill‑based setting. This is hands‑on experience in behavioral health and child development, not babysitting.

We offer flexible scheduling around classes, part-time during the school year with more hours in summer, and mentorship from BCBA supervisors to help you build real clinical skills and progress toward RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is a plus
• Ability to connect with kids and communicate effectively
• Reliability and consistent attendance is essential

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a child with autism in home or community settings
• Receive supervision from a BCBA to build clinical skills
• Learn ABA concepts and apply behavior science
• Support children in communication, social skills, and independence
• Use de-escalation and regulation strategies to navigate challenging behaviors
• Help develop executive functioning such as planning and routines
• Teach and reinforce daily living skills and positive behaviors
• Track behavior data and progress for observation and planning
