Job summary

Youth Guidance is seeking a part-time before/after school supervisor at Ravenswood Elementary in Chicago to supervise students and support program activities daily.

You will assist the Community Resource Coordinator with curriculum planning, homework help, and distributing information to families, while promoting the school values and CPS policies. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, plus the ability to engage diverse students and parents, are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with school staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of students in before/after school programs.
• Promote Youth Guidance values at the assigned school.
• Maintain behavioral expectations per established methods.
• Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Support students with homework and projects.
• Escort students to and from programs per schedule.
• Distribute program information and publications.
• Support regular school day administration and staff.
• Communicate with parents and families.
• Provide conflict resolution when needed.
