Job summary

Pacific Catch is seeking a Bartender in California to deliver first-class service and hospitality. The role requires presenting the drink menu, making recommendations, taking orders, serving promptly, and upselling when appropriate in a fast-paced bar and dining area.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, be able to stand for extended periods, and work weekend shifts. This is a part-time, hourly position with weekend availability a must.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest service skills and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to present menus, upsell, and answer questions about drinks and food.
• Record orders accurately into POS and handle payments.
• Willingness to fill in as a server when needed.

Responsibilities

• Present drink menu and make recommendations to Guests.
• Take orders, prepare and serve drinks promptly; check in with Guests.
• Up-sell beverages and assist with food service as required.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and inventory; assist restocking as needed.
• Ensure correct handling of payments and change.
