Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bartending school preferred.
• Accurate cash handling skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Learn and upsell beverages including beer, wine, and spirits.
• Pour drinks responsibly per serving size guidelines.
• Check IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol service.
• Communicate cut-offs to guests as required.
• Respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management if needed.
• Request additional products or restock as needed.
• Handle the issued bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is kept in good order.
• Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization.
