Troon, operating Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose, CA, is seeking a part-time bartender. You will mix drinks, verify ages, handle cash, and engage guests to foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year bartending experience or training
• Must be at least 21 to serve alcohol
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
• Alcohol Awareness Training

Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout shift
• Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Perform other duties as required
