Job summary

Poston Butte Golf Club in Florence, AZ is seeking a part-time bartender. You will stock the bar, mix and serve beverages, and help with inventory and opening/closing duties at a hospitality-focused property managed by Troon.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• High school diploma or GED; and one year of bartending experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks the bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates supply needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the department manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Uses the POS system to handle transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
