Qualifications

• Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale and ability to combine ingredients.
• Experience recognizing intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolving issues.
• Experience following proper cash handling procedures.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, and walk for long periods.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a bar setting.
• Must meet minimum age for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Prepares alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks per recipes. Serves patrons or delivers to staff.
• Keeps bar sanitary and stocked. Sets up storeroom for easy access to stock.
• Operates cash register, handles receipts, and maintains cash funds records.
• Completes required alcohol-service training and annual refresher training.
• Identifies unruly patrons and follows procedures to resolve issues.
