Job summary

Leal Vineyards is seeking a part-time Bartender to provide exceptional guest service and crafted beverages at our Hollister, CA location. You will greet guests, suggest drinks, and mix beverages to our standard recipes while maintaining a clean and safe bar environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling payments, upselling food and drinks, and ensuring compliance with California liquor regulations. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possess and maintain a California Food Handlers Certificate.
• Possess and maintain a California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate.
• Previous bartending experience with knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor required.
• Able to handle cash and operate a POS terminal accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about beverages.
• Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing high quality beverages.
• Mix drinks and bar beverages according to standard recipes.
• Upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management.
• Check IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol.
• Record drink orders into the POS system and process payments.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in all bar areas.
• Complete side work and restock bar inventory as directed.
