Job summary

Léal Hospitality Group seeks a friendly, experienced Bartender to deliver exceptional guest service at its California properties. The role requires knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor, accurate cash handling, and adherence to state liquor laws.

You will greet guests, mix drinks, upsell items, check IDs, and maintain a clean, safe bar environment. Qualifications include 21+ years, California Food Handlers, and RBST certification, plus prior bartending experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current California Food Handlers Certificate.
• Current California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate.
• Previous bartending experience with beer, wine, and liquor knowledge.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash.
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Willing to serve guests according to expected atmosphere and guest needs.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions.
• Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing high-quality beverages.
• Mix drinks and upsell drink specials and food items as directed.
• Check IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol service.
• Record orders in POS and process payments accurately.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, safety, and stock levels.
• Report equipment issues to the General Manager.
• Adhere to liquor regulations prohibiting service to minors or intoxicated guests.
• Collaborate with team to ensure guest satisfaction.
