Job summary

Garrisons Lake Golf Club in Smyrna, DE is seeking a part-time Bartender to join Troon Golf, LLC. You will mix and serve beverages, manage inventory, ensure safety and legal compliance, and support banquet events in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires at least a GED or high school diploma and 1 year of bartending experience, plus knowledge of cocktails and wine. State age requirements apply; Alcohol Awareness Training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of bartending experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the in-charge person.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking.
• Handles checks and cash transactions using POS system.
• Reviews banquet schedule and events for changes.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as required.
