Job summary

Rock Manor Golf Course in Wilmington, DE, part of Troon, is seeking a driven part-time bartender to deliver friendly service, create drinks, handle payments, and keep the bar area clean in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Monitor guest experience to ensure best service.
• Inspect bar before opening for supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and drinks.
• Perform closing duties and cleanup.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Support all policies communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• 1-2 years of bartending experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment
• Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
• Collects payment for drinks served
• Greets and provides immediate attention to guests
• Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned
• Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
