Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time Café 125 Barista at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, TX. You will make coffee and espresso drinks, handle food according to HACCP guidelines, and interact with guests in a friendly manner.

Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required. Prior barista and customer service experience are preferred, and a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour applies. Free meals and uniforms are provided at select locations.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related items.
• Handles food per HACCP guidelines and standards.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders into POS, processes cash and card payments.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of service area and equipment.
