BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Barista at Encanterra in Queen Creek, AZ. The role involves preparing coffee drinks, serving guests, and supporting the beverage team in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, is required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three months' related experience preferred.
• Must meet the state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to learn quickly and think fast.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; calculate discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memorandums.
• Ability to prepare beverages using bar equipment while engaging with guests.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Explain coffee drink menu and make beverage recommendations.
• Take orders with detailed information and prepare beverages following recipes.
• Serve beverages indoors or outdoors on the patio.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Share ideas with the Food & Beverage Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory and equipment for the coffee bar.
• Keep equipment clean and perform preventive maintenance.
• Report needed equipment repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Notice and report safety issues to a supervisor.
• Assist with team training and maintain a friendly team atmosphere.
• Have working knowledge of the resort to upsell other services.
• Other duties as assigned.
