The University of Arizona is seeking part-time Banquet Servers to support the Catering team during events and special occasions. You will assist with setup, service, and breakdown, delivering a seamless guest experience with attention to food presentation and safety.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, and collaborating with the catering team to ensure high-quality service. This role offers a part-time schedule and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up and breakdown of banquet rooms and event spaces as instructed.
• Serve food and beverages as listed on the Banquet Event Order.
• Make recommendations and answer questions for guests and clients.
• Greet and serve every guest in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Ensure an excellent guest experience.
• Ensure all food product is presented according to client expectations.
• Apply food safety standards to prevent cross contamination or spoilage.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to captain and catering team as needed.
• Assist with clean up and sanitation of all supplies and utensils.
• Notify supervisor of damaged supplies.
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate to supervisor when necessary.
