Qualifications

• Prior banquet server experience is required.
• TIPS Alcohol Certification and Food Handlers Certification are required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork as core expectations.
• Adherence to departmental and property standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform banquet side work as designated by Banquet Captain.
• Serve with efficient, high standards and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Attend to guests during functions and related duties.
• Report equipment needs to Banquet Manager; coordinate housekeeping/repairs.
• Follow liquor liability laws and ensure compliance.
• Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
• Maintain tables and ensure service readiness 15 minutes before events.
• Count guests served and maintain service pace with team.
• Work with Banquet Servers & Captains to ensure guest quality and service.
• Assist in room set up and breakdown as requested.
• Foster a team mentality to uphold service standards at all times.
• Respond to reasonable requests from management.
