Description
The banquet server is the face of our Catering and Events department, responsible for members’ experiences. Responsibilities include preparing event spaces, presenting menus, serving food and beverages, and ensuring excellent service. The role requires a quick, friendly, and professional attitude, especially in a fast-paced environment. Your goal is to deliver high-quality service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces and service areas with attention to sanitation and order.
• Attend to members promptly upon arrival.
• Present menus and assist members in selecting food and beverages.
• Serve food, including running, bussing, and resetting tables.
• Answer questions and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.
• Collaborate with team members, including the Banquet Manager, Captains, kitchen, and bar staff.
• Handle complaints or issues positively.
• Work flexibly in different areas of the club as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience in banquet, catering, or events is a plus.
• Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Reliable attendance is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work indoors and outdoors as needed throughout the year.
