Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Badge Authentication to provide access control, monitor entry points, and assist campus visitors. You will work a scheduled daytime weekend shift as part of a flexible program that lets you claim additional shifts using our platform.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out access control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to campus buildings and facilities.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate access control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized access.
