Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer in Nashville, TN. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners on a Saturday-Sunday schedule with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background checks in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
License requirements may be required by state/local laws.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to campus buildings and restricted areas.
Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain access control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances and campus facilities to deter unauthorized access.
