NETS is seeking experienced Part-Time Background Investigators nationwide to support our IC customers in securing the trustworthiness and integrity of the United States Government's workforce by delivering high-quality National Security Background Investigations. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive face-to-face interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals; review records to obtain facts to resolve material issues or establish the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject under investigation.

3. Document all information and submit detailed investigation reports within strict timelines.
4. Conduct efficient and accurate investigations to meet quality, timeliness, and production metrics.
5. Maintain a steadfast commitment to the program mission in support of national security initiatives.
6. Possess a Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years of recent progressive work experience.
7. Have a current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel locally as needed.
8. Have a home office with high-speed internet and a cell phone; government-provided laptop and internet reimbursement are included.
9. Exhibit exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of typing detailed, extensive reports.
10. Complete the National Training Standards course prior to employment.
11. Opportunities are available for multiple levels based on qualifications.
12. Complete the New Hire Credential syllabus and pass the final exam with at least 80%; failure to meet this requirement will result in separation from employment.
