Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College seeks an Automation Technology Adjunct Instructor to deliver IST program courses in a day shift. You will apply effective teaching methods, assess student progress, and maintain course documentation and inventory.

Minimum qualifications include a teaching credential in Industrial Systems Technology or related field, strong communication skills, and teamwork abilities. Preference for industry and postsecondary teaching experience; knowledge of Microsoft Office

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in the teaching discipline (Industrial Systems Technology) or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Industry experience preferred; teaching experience at the postsecondary level is desired.
Competency in Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction to students in the IST program.
Demonstrate use of appropriate teaching techniques and testing/grading procedures.
Follow appropriate course syllabi and maintain documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory of assigned property and timely completion of related paperwork.
This adjunct position is on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 27 hours per week.
