Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a qualified Automation Technology Adjunct Instructor for evening, on-campus instruction at the Whitfield Murray Campus. The role reports to the Dean of Industrial Technologies and involves advising students in the Automation Technology program and participating in institutional activities.

The position requires on-site work with no telework option; duties include delivering instruction, curriculum development, assessment, and supporting recruitment

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in Automation Technology or Industrial Systems Technology with demonstrated competencies.
• Three+ years of paid work experience in Automation Technology within the past seven years.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent technology use and classroom management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction based on approved course syllabus.
• Prepare curriculum and syllabus for coursework.
• Evaluate student progress and administer exams.
• Maintain attendance and grade records.
• Assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
