Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Paraprofessional to support students with autism in an elementary setting in Boulder, CO. The role combines a part-time schedule (20 hours per week) with a potential full-time description. Expect daily hours roughly 8:30 a.m.

to 12:30 p.m. on school days, with occasional training days. Responsibilities include assisting with bus safety and mobility, supporting learning activities, and collaborating with a dedicated team to help children succeed

Qualifications

• Two years of special education classroom experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be a flexible team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Ensure students are seated and secured during transit.
• Provide support to students with mobility challenges.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe environment.
• Attend to individual students' needs, including personal care tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.
