Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time Paraprofessional in Boulder, CO to support students with autism in an intensive learning center. The role is approximately 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

with a schedule that follows student attendance days and occasional training sessions. Responsibilities include assisting students with disabilities on buses, ensuring safety during transit, supporting mobility, monitoring behavior, and assisting with personal care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of special education public school classroom experience.
• Training facility or private facility is not considered classroom experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be a flexible team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus safely when needed.
• Ensure all students are seated and secured properly during transit when needed.
• Provide support to students with mobility challenges, including assisting with wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Attend to the needs of individual students, including assisting with personal care tasks if necessary.
• Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures in the event of an incident or emergency.
• Help out with other tasks in the school when needed.

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking to hire a full-time Paraprofessional in Boulder, CO. Part time position (20 hours per week). • Only work during student attendance days, except for 2 or 3 days training during the year
