Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Edison, NJ is hiring part-time, hourly Autism Aides to provide direct ABA instruction and support to children.

You will collaborate with BCBA and Autism Therapists, attend team meetings, report progress to families, and maintain daily data, ensuring confidentiality.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience with special needs and may be enrolled in relevant undergraduate/graduate programs; training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond 20 hour training and competency exam.
• Experience using ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Autism Aides/Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and resources to promote consistency at home and in the community.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with state and federal regulations.
