Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Stamford, CT is hiring part-time, hourly Autism Aides to support pediatric therapy teams delivering ABA services in home, clinic, or community settings. You will work under BCBA direction to implement educational plans and collect data.

This role emphasizes collaboration with families and therapists, strong organization, and a compassionate approach to children with special needs; prior ABA exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families
• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting
• Experience using ABA preferred
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing grade on competency exam
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient
• Excellent communication with children, families, and supervisors
• Comfortable working in a home-based setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Autism Aides/Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session and resources for home use
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per state and federal laws
