Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Assistant Audiology - Part Time to support audiologists in conducting student hearing screenings across the district. Training will be provided for hearing screening procedures.

Responsibilities include operating audiology equipment under supervision, assisting with classroom modifications to meet hearing needs, and coordinating with educators to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to assist audiologists with hearing screenings and equipment setup.
• Flexible hours and travel between school sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist audiologists in conducting hearing screenings and assessments
• Set up and operate audiology equipment under supervision
• Assist with classroom modifications to meet hearing needs
• Work closely with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, teachers and staff
• Sanitize and store audiological equipment properly
• Ensure proper hygiene practices with hearing devices
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the district
