Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, AZ is seeking an on-site Audiology Support Assistant to help conduct student hearing screenings across the district. Training will be provided for hearing screening procedures and equipment operation under supervision, with daily collaboration among audiologists, educators, and support staff.

The role supports flexible hours, part-time 29 hours per week, and includes performance pay annually. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Assist audiologists in conducting hearing screenings and assessments.
• Travel to various school sites to assist in student hearing screenings.
• Work with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, teachers, and staff to meet hearing needs.
• Training provided for hearing screening procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist audiologists in conducting hearing screenings and assessments
• Set up and operate audiology equipment under supervision
• Assist with classroom modifications to meet hearing needs
• Work closely with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, special education teachers, and general educators
• Sanitize and store audiological equipment properly
• Ensure proper hygiene practices with hearing devices
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
