Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is hiring a Driver I - Non-DOT for day shifts at a Cox location. You will drive vehicles through auction lanes, transport them between lots and to customer sites, and support general vehicle operations.

The position pays an hourly rate of $15.03 with potential additional compensation or incentives. Shifts are Wed/Thu 8am–5pm and Fri 8am–12pm, with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Move vehicles to designated areas and to customer dealerships while following rules.
• Line up and park vehicles as directed and locate “lost” vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed.
• Inflate tires and jump start vehicles if necessary.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
