Job summary

Cox Automotive, USA, is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT to safely move, stage and park vehicles on Auction property. You will drive to lots, to customer businesses, and through sale lanes while following safety rules.

Shift: Wed 8:30am - 3:30pm. The role involves physical activity, long periods of sitting/walking, and occasional minor vehicle tasks with potential incentive opportunities. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and sit/walk for long periods.
• Prior driving or auction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing driving rules and safety practices.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed and perform minor tasks such as inflating tires or jump starting a vehicle when required.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative and support safety and customer service needs.
