Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks an Attending Physician in Holyoke, MA to oversee primary medical care for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

You will be the primary provider, supported by a dedicated NP or PA, with a part-time schedule of 1 day per week. Responsibilities include patient rounds with NPs/PAs, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and discussing treatment plans with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and LTC experience.
• Ability to mentor NPs and PAs.
• Prolonged standing and walking in facility settings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in SNFs.
• Conduct patient rounds with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses while overseeing management of chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
