Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a part-time Attending Physician to manage new admissions and collaborate with on-site Nurse Practitioners in skilled nursing facilities. The role is on-site, with a 2-day-per-week schedule focused on primary care, care coordination, and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include rounding, supervising clinical staff, participating in meetings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care to SNFs/Rehabs.

Qualifications

• Valid state medical license and DEA license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited school with completed residency.
• Ability to work independently and with on-site staff.
• Effective communication with geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Attending Physician for SNFs/Rehabs and participate in quality initiatives.
• Attend monthly quality/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
• Supervise facility clinical staff and oversee care plans with compliance to regulations.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to manage daily resident care.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care through on-site rounding.
