Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee new admissions for skilled nursing facilities and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners. This on-site role offers a flexible 3-5 day/week schedule with no nights or on-calls and fully covered malpractice insurance.

The physician will participate in administrative and quality initiatives, attend regular meetings, and provide comprehensive primary care to residents. MD or DO with US residency and active medical license required.

Qualifications

Candidate must hold a valid medical license in the state of practice.
DEA/Controlled Substance license valid in the state of practice.
Must have completed a US residency program.
Must have a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work independently and with on-site staff.
Excellent communication with geriatric/Medicare population.
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to use email and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

Serve as Attending Physician for SNFs/Rehabs and participate in administrative and quality initiatives at facilities.
Attend monthly QA/regulatory meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and supervise facility staff.
Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to manage daily care for residents at each facility.
Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care by rounding on patients in SNFs/Rehabs.
