Job summary

Penn State Berks athletic/recreational facilities are seeking staff to support daily operations and enforce rules while ensuring safe equipment use.

You will monitor game clocks and timing systems during athletic events, collaborate with officials and staff to maintain synchronization, and promptly resolve timing discrepancies.

This role contributes to campus safety and compliance with university policies, supporting a smooth and engaging campus experience.

• Adhere to safe and appropriate use of all equipment and modalities within established guidelines.
• Monitor and operate game clocks and timing systems during Penn State Berks athletic events to ensure accurate timekeeping in accordance with sport-specific rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with officials and event staff to maintain synchronization and resolve any timing discrepancies promptly.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
