Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore, MD are offering a part-time sewing apprenticeship designed to train participants to become sewing technicians. The 7-week program blends hands-on practice with fundamentals in sewing techniques, equipment handling, workplace safety, and quality control.

Participants will gain experience in athletic sewing processes, fabric handling, and garment construction, with the goal of two apprentices transitioning to permanent part-time sewing technician roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional level sewing and alterations experience.
• High school diploma or higher preferred.
• Expert in the field of sewing.

Responsibilities

• Sew/mend all aspects of player uniforms and coaching apparel.
• Construct jerseys from blanks.
• Heat pressing and embroidery machine operation/maintenance.
• Accurate measurements, hemming, mending, reconstruction of garments.
• Ensure sewing room is clean and organized; assist other team members.
• Communicate effectively with team management.
