The Sewing Labs is seeking external candidates to enroll in our exclusive Sewing Salon Training Program. Selected trainees will join a registered apprenticeship to become professional certified Industrial Sewing Machine Operators.
Training begins in late August / early September 2026 with nine hours per week of commitment. Interviews are taking place now to train for a paid apprenticeship lasting 2,000 hours with a local partner employer.

The Sewing Labs is seeking external candidates to enroll in our exclusive Sewing Salon Training Program. Being selected to participate in the Sewing Salon Training Program equips our graduates with the tools they need to obtain a registered apprenticeship allowing them to become professional certified Industrial Sewing Machine Operators. Interviews are taking place now, with training beginning in late August / early September 2026. The training portion of the program requires a nine hour commitment each week, allowing our trainees flexibility as they learn this new, in-demand skill.
What Is An Apprenticeship?
As with all US Department of Labor registered apprenticeship training programs, the Apprentice will enroll in and complete the required classroom training curriculum. The course work will require up to 270 hours of related technical instruction in a classroom setting and approximately 2,000 hours of paid on-the-job training with a partner employer. An Apprenticeship allows our graduates a unique opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to become well-compensated, in-demand Industrial Sewing Machine Operators.
