Responsibilities

• Prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
• Document injuries and treatment in written and electronic form.
• Provide coverage for varsity and subvarsity practices and events.
• Offer athletic injury education and counseling to student athletes.
• Assist Head Athletic Trainer in administrative duties.
• Advise coaching staff on injury prevention, conditioning, and equipment care.
• Monitor environmental hazards (e.g., lightning, humidity).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training room.
• Refer injuries to physicians for diagnosis or treatment when needed.
• Carry out team physician instructions and patient care orders.
