Job summary

Saint John's High School is seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer for a part-time, non-benefited role to cover after-school practices and home athletic events in collaboration with another trainer.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in athletic training, BOC certification, and LAT licensure or eligibility, with AED/First Aid and CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to support student athletes and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required; Master's preferred.
• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Massachusetts Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) or eligible for licensure.
• AED/First Aid and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, evaluate, and rehabilitate athletic injuries.
• Document injuries and treatments accurately.
• Provide coverage for varsity and subvarsity practices and events.
• Educate student athletes on injury prevention and care.
• Assist Head Athletic Trainer with administrative duties.
• Advise coaching staff on injury prevention and conditioning.
