The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate a cash register, handle payments, make change, and process refunds as authorized.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles if requested.
8. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost/damaged goods, and store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Bonus Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certification.
