The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices/bills for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including parking lot, as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, provide change, and handle refunds with approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact well with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
