Part-time Associate (Overnight Load Crew)

Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Overnight Load Crew) in Murrieta, California!

Location: 25060 Madison Avenue, Murrieta, CA 92562

Starting Rate: $16.50/hr

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate plays a vital role in our success by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves with fresh food, and creating a great shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned store sections, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for freshness, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle refunds as authorized.
• Verify customer eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Assist customers courteously with store and product information.
• Help load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost or damaged goods and manage store supplies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
• Understand and follow instructions, product labels, and pricing codes.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Carry out detailed instructions with common sense.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Skills

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (a plus).
